The
Commerce New Network Association of Canada ( CNNA ),
formerly known as The Commerce New Network, is a
non-profit and non-political business association.
The association was founded in 2003. Founding
committee members composed of business individuals
from different industry sectors. Currently there are
thirteen members served in the Board of Directors and
more than a hundred regular members.
Our missions are
threefold. First, we make every effort to provide an
environment for business networking opportunities
for both members and non-members. One way to achieve
this is through regular luncheon and value-added
seminars. Second, we strongly believe that "FUN" is
an important ingredient. We always encourage members
to really come out and enjoy. There are friendly
gatherings, BBQs' and scheduled activities like
badminton, fishing trips, boat-cruise, singing,
dancing and Tai-Chi. Our motto is "Business
opportunities come from friendship and trust, and we
should enjoy the course rather than the outcome".
Finally, last but not the least, we are great
supporters of charity and community work. We earn,
we share and we give. In this respect, we take part
in a lot of fundraising events, e.g. St. John's
fundraising, can-drive for the Food Bank and many
other upcoming fund raising events.
We welcome
every one of you who share the same mission with us
to join, to have fun, to share and to give. By doing
this, hopefully our association can grow bigger and
bigger and we can add some extra flavours to our
daily lives.
